Member Screening of The Migrant Kitchen, Season 4

In partnership with NeueHouse and KCET / PBS SoCal, join us for a special members’ preview of the new season of Life & Thyme’s Emmy Award winning series, The Migrant Kitchen.

The first two episodes of the fourth season of The Migrant Kitchen will be screened ahead of its broadcast airing which explore the renaissance of Taiwanese food and the bounty that the Pacific Northwest lends to a reinterpreted Russian cuisine. Discussion following screening with Michelin-starred chef Jon Yao of Los Angeles’ Kato, James Beard Award-nominated chef Bonnie Morales of Portland’s Kachka, and the directors behind The Migrant Kitchen.

The Migrant Kitchen is an Emmy®-winning documentary series that explores America’s booming food scene through the eyes of a new generation of chefs whose cuisine is inspired by the immigrant experience. Visit the kitchens of those who have transformed the culinary landscape of this country, combining traditional ethnic cuisines and a fusion of new flavors and techniques that have been shaped through immigrant foodways. The Migrant Kitchen is produced by Life & Thyme and KCET / PBS SoCal.
