Chef Neal Fraser on Modern Food Media

Los Angeles’ very own, Chef Neal Fraser, has been working in kitchens since his early 20s. Today, Fraser and business partner/wife Amy Knoll Fraser, are behind Redbird and Vibiana.

Though cooking started as a trade for Neal to provide for his family, it has become an opportunity to enact meaningful change in his own community. The Frasers believe in the value of just showing up and doing the work in your community to be a good bastion of society. They volunteer their time and resources to work with groups like LA Family Housing to advance their mission of offering services to our unhoused neighbors in Los Angeles.

Neal joins the Life & Thyme Brigade, our growing network of industry professionals who we look to for guidance in building a better future for our food systems. We invite you to join us on this mission to create a more equitable and informed future by becoming a Life & Thyme member.
